Papillon Resources: Nächstes M&A Target im Junior-Goldsektor?

Die australische Presse schürt weitere Spekulationen um eine potentielle Offer für den fortgeschrittenen Projektentwickler Papillon Resources (ASX:PIR) an, der das weltklasse, high-grade + high-margin Gold-Projekt Fekola in Mali entwickelt. 

Nach den Aussies dürfte der wachstumsstarke Goldproduzent B2Gold (NYE:BTG) um den aggressiven und smarten CEO & Founder Clive Johnson (ex Bema Gold, Übernahme durch Kinross) abermals im Rennen sein, nachdem diese Firma bereits zwei Übernahmen in Westafrika im Junior-Sektor während der letzten Jahre erfolgreich vollzog. Die Majors AngloGold (NYE:AU) und Randgold (NDS:GOLD) gelten ebenfalls als heiße Interessenten. 

Ein Bieter müsste gerade rund 600 Mio. USD hinlegen, wodurch sich der Kreis der potentiellen Übernehmer in der angeschlagenen Goldminen-Branche stark zusammen zieht..
