Hierzu ein aktueller Beitrag von Fission Uranium's (T.FCU) CEO Dev Randhawa:
The Pace of Japanese Restarts
Just about every month we get positive news coming out of China regarding their nuclear sector – completed reactors coming online, new construction beginning. In the same way that we’ve become used to the world’s second-largest economy powering ahead with its reactor construction boom, we’ve also become used to Japan hemorrhaging money and pumping out fossil fuel emissions with so many of its reactors still offline.
It was therefore a pleasure to read, a few days ago, that Japan’s Kyushu Electric Power Co. had restarted a nuclear reactor in the Kagoshima prefecture after the governor, who is opposed to nuclear power, admitted to the prefectural assembly that he had no legal power to prevent the restart..
POSTED ON DECEMBER 12, 2016 BY COLLIN KETTELL There’s been a lot of action in uranium the last few months- especially post US elections. Trump and team are positive on uranium, and the US is the biggest consumer of uranium in the world. Uranium Participation Corp- a proxy for the spot price of uranium, began trading at a premium just two weeks ago, which typically happens when bullish sentiment enters the market. On December 6th, we put out a call that the stocks had bottomed. Spot uranium has since moved up for the first time in several months..

FISSION HITS MULTIPLE HIGH-GRADE HOLES AT BOTH ENDS OF 2.58KM TREND
Drilling Expands R840W and R1620E Zones with Shallow, High-Grade Holes
KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Aug. 2, 2016) - FISSION URANIUM CORP. (TSX:FCU)(OTCQX:FCUUF)(FRANKFURT:2FU) ("Fission" or "the Company") is pleased to announce results from nine holes at its award-winning PLS project..
This is a successful end to the 2016 Winter program and we are particularly pleased with our latest exploration drilling: we have very promising results on the Forest Lake area over 7km south of the Triple R and also to the west of this winter's new R840W zone as well as in the gap between the Triple R deposit and the R600W zone. These results follow exploration activity earlier in the program which delivered a new land-based, high-grade zone at R840W, transformed R1620E into a high-grade zone and expanded the mineralized trend at PLS to 2.58km. All three of the new areas will require further drilling as follow up. Our resource drilling has been similarly successful and we now have three high-grade zones that have potential to be added to the Triple R resource..."
With yet another successful 45m step-out, the R840W zone is growing rapidly to the west. This bodes well for the eventual size of this high-grade, near-surface zone as well as for the continued blue sky exploration potential of PLS and speaks volumes for the skill of our technical team.."

FISSION INCREASES PLS MINERALIZED STRIKE LENGTH TO 2.58 KM; GROWS 3 ZONES Exploration drilling at new R840W zone delivers more high-grade growth with 45m step out
KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - March 21, 2016) -FISSION URANIUM CORP. (TSX:FCU)(OTCQX:FCUUF)(FRANKFURT:2FU) ("Fission" or "the Company") is pleased to announce results from four holes at its PLS property, host to the Triple R deposit, in Canada's Athabasca Basin region: two holes drilled on the R840W zone, one drilled on the R780E zone and one on the R1620E zone. Of key importance, hole PLS16-479 (line 960W), a 45m step out to the west of the fast-growing, shallow and high-grade R840W zone, has hit 41.0m total composite mineralization, including 4.79m of total composite >10,000 cps. All four holes were mineralized.
The mineralized trend at PLS, which includes the Triple R deposit, is one of the largest footprints in the Athabasca Basin region and has a new expanded strike length of 2.58km. The Triple R deposit, on which a resource estimate and PEA study were conducted in 2015, occupies approximately 1.05 km of this very large mineralized trend and the remaining 1.53 km comprises 3 other mineralized zones (R840W, R600W and R1620E) with gaps generally represented by very little drilling between them.
Of further importance, the R1620E zone, which lies at the easternmost end of the PLS mineralized trend, has another strongly mineralized hole with PLS16-481 (line 1515E) intercepting 35.5m total composite mineralization, including 0.17m of >10,000 cps.
Ross McElroy, President, COO, and Chief Geologist for Fission, commented:
"With yet another successful 45m step-out, the R840W zone is growing rapidly to the west. This bodes well for the eventual size of this high-grade, near-surface zone as well as for the continued blue sky exploration potential of PLS and speaks volumes for the skill of our technical team."

Fission Expands R600W, R780E and R1620E Zones With High-Grade Hits
Winter Program Successfully Expands High-Grade Mineralization East and West of Triple R Deposit
KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Feb. 16, 2016) -FISSION URANIUM CORP. (TSX:FCU) (OTCQX:FCUUF) (FRANKFURT:2FU)("Fission" or "the Company") is pleased to announce results from eleven holes at its' PLS property, host to the Triple R deposit, in Canada's Athabasca Basin region: seven holes drilled on the R600W zone, three drilled on the R780E zone and one on the R1620E. Of key importance,Hole PLS16-460, drilled on the R1620E zone (line 1500E) 300m east of the Triple R deposit, has intersected 8.04m of total composite mineralization of >10,000 cps radioactivity in a continuous 50.0m wide mineralized zone that starts at the shallow depth of 65.5m depth. Not only is this by far the strongest mineralization drilled to date on the R1620E zone but additionally it is the strongest mineralization east of line 1125E (R780E zone) 375m further to the west. Hole PLS16-460 significantly upgrades the R1620E Zone.
All eleven holes were mineralized, with eight returning high-grade intervals. The high-grade R600W zone, the high-grade R1620E zone and the newly discovered High-Grade R840W zone have yet to be added to the Triple R deposit resource estimate.
Ross McElroy, President, COO, and Chief Geologist for Fission, commented,
"With the recent discovery of high-grade mineralization in PLS16-445 on the R840W zone (see NR February 01, 2016) and now the discovery of high-grade mineralization 2.34km to the east on the R1620E zone (PLS16-460) drilling this winter at PLS has shown the upside blue-sky potential that exists. The shallow depth of mineralization in PLS16-460, starting at just 65.5m below surface, is a hallmark of the 2.47km long mineralized trend at PLS and is a continued reminder of just how much PLS and the Triple R differs from other discoveries and deposits in the Athabasca Basin. Neither the R600W, the R840W zone nor the R1620E zone have been added to the Triple R deposit resource estimate so the team is very excited to see this high-grade growth."
Fission's New R840W Zone to Receive Expanded Drill Program
1200m of additional drilling to follow up high-grade area west of R600W
KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Feb. 8, 2016) -FISSION URANIUM CORP. ("Fission" or "the Company") (TSX:FCU) (OTCQX:FCUUF) (FRANKFURT:2FU) is pleased to announce it will increase the size and budget of the winter drill program to account for additional drilling around the newly discovered R840W zone at its' PLS property, host to the Triple R deposit, in Canada's Athabasca Basin region. An additional $740,000 budgeted for 1,200m in four holes is planned to test the R840W.
Four additional close-spaced angled drill holes are planned to test for lateral and vertical continuation of the broad mineralized zone encountered in exploration hole PLS16-445 drilled on line 840W, located 135m west of the R600W zone. That drill hole intersected a 42.0m wide mineralized zone, including a continuous 2.0m interval measuring >10,000 cps radioactivity (see NR dated Feb 1, 2016).
1 hole will test 15m along strike to the west on line 855W
1 hole will test 15m along strike to the east on line 825W
1 hole will test 20m up-dip on line 840W
1 hole will test 20m down-dip on line 840W
Ross McElroy, President, COO, and Chief Geologist for Fission, commented,
"The R840W zone was discovered using similar methods to those that led to the R600W zone: applying the team's greater knowledge of PLS geology to areas that were drill tested early during the PLS project. It is strong reminder of the continued prospectivity of PLS that, with the first hole of the latest program, we have already identified this new high-grade area and are in a position to test it further."
Pre-discovery drilling on the Patterson Lake Corridor intersected numerous areas of interest and ultimately led to the R600W and now the R840W zones. More areas of interest identified during early exploration drilling remain to be followed up..

Canada’s Athabasca Basin is arguably the best place to look for uranium in the world, and it’s the backyard of Cameco, the world’s largest producer.
A few small exploration companies have been able to find and delineate uranium deposits there and make money for shareholders by selling them to majors such as Cameco.

CAD liegen, wodurch ein wirklich relevanter Spieler im Uran-Business entsteht: "This merger will create the uranium industry's leading exploration and development company."
- NYSE-Lisiting.
- Solider Übernahme-Kandidat in Zukunft.

Ron Hochstein, Executive Chairman of Denison, commented: "The continued exploration success at our Phoenix deposit and Gryphon discovery, in combination with the discovery and exploration success of the world class Triple R deposit puts the combined company in an incredibly strong strategic position, with the most significant development portfolio in the world. We are confident that our shareholders will benefit from the value creation opportunities that will be realized through an expanded and more diversified uranium company."
Dev Randhawa, Chairman & CEO of Fission, stated: "This merger will create the uranium industry's leading exploration and development company at a time when the sector is poised for growth. Denison has a strong, diversified portfolio and, with the Triple R deposit, Fission is bringing the Athabasca Basin's largest undeveloped high-grade resource as well as a successful and award-winning technical and management team."
Kommentar von Analyst Rob Chang bei Cantor Fritzgerald: "..The combined company will be appealing to acquirers that are looking to sweep up a large portfolio of quality assets in the Athabasca Basin. Moreover, the combined company will sport a larger valuation that will be more attractive to institutional investors with minimum market capitalization constraints. On the other hand, the merger does not seem to have many obvious synergies as DML’s eastern Athabasca assets and FCU’s western basin assets are too far apart to share many costs meaningfully.."
Top-Deal für CA:DML - vor allem long-term. Nicht so der "Hammer Deal" für CA:FCU. Sehr gut für CA:NXE. Und natürlich exzellent für Mr. Lukas Lundin:

China’s growing nuclear program has the country on the hunt for uranium acquisitions, and Canadian companies could be on the list.
The head of China National Nuclear Corp. (CNNC), Wang Ying, said earlier this month that China is looking for companies with large deposits and low costs to meet domestic demand. The acquisition criteria he outlined includes companies that have at least 30,000 tonnes of uranium resource, cash production no higher than US$25 a pound and total production costs of no more than US$45 a pound.
Rob Chang, analyst and head of metal and mining at Cantor Fitzgerald, said that four projects in Canada could immediately fall under China’s radar based on the criteria.
One would be Fission Uranium Corp.’s Patterson Lake South project, which meets the criteria for size, but whose costs haven’t been finalized yet. Cameco Corp.’s Millennium deposit falls just short on size, but its costs are likely in range. UEX Corp.’s Shea Creek deposit meets the size criteria, though costs haven’t yet been determined. Finally, Rio Tinto Canada Uranium Corp.’s Roughrider project could also attract attention, since it’s the right size and its costs are likely in range.
Those projects make their companies stand out for immediate investment from China, but Chang points out that CNNC has said acquisitions would take place on a five-year timeline, which means additional projects could get China’s attention. These include NexGen Energy Ltd.’s Arrow project, Kivalliq Energy Corp.’s Angilak deposit, Denison Mines Corp.’s Wheeler River Project and Areva’s Midwest project.
