Auryn Resources Inc. has entered into an investment agreement with Goldcorp Inc. for a strategic equity placement whereby Goldcorp will purchase directly and indirectly in two tranches 9,542,402 common shares of Auryn for $3.67 per share. After giving effect to the placement, Goldcorp will own 12.5 per cent of Auryn's outstanding common shares.
In addition, Auryn and Goldcorp have entered into an investor rights and obligations agreement whereby, as long as Goldcorp maintains a 5-per-cent or greater equity ownership interest in Auryn:
Shawn Wallace, president and chief executive officer, commented that: "We are very pleased to have secured an important investment with an industry leader such as Goldcorp on favourable terms that minimizes dilution to our shareholders. Auryn is now fully funded to complete one of the most extensive, globally significant exploration programs in 2017. The program will include a planned 55,000 metres of exploration drilling across six projects in Canada and Peru, and expect to make a number of advances that could potentially contribute to the realization of multiple major gold discoveries.."

- If Goldcorp chooses to sell more than 2 per cent of Auryn's shares, Auryn will have the right to designate buyers, and Goldcorp will vote its shares to elect the Auryn recommended director nominees.

Gold-Explorer TerraX Minerals (V.TXR) bleibt an der Explorationsfront erfolgreich. Diese Woche verkündete die solide finanzierte Junior-Firma neue Bohrresultate von den laufenden Arbeitsprogrammen auf dem Hauptprojekt Yellowknife City Gold im kanadischen Norden.
Auf dem Mispickel-Bohrziel (Northbelt) gelang TerraX zuletzt sogar das beste Bohrloch in der jungen Firmen-Geschichte fertigzustellen. Auf einer gesamten Bohrlänge von 8 Metern traf der erfolgreiche Explorer beeindruckende 60,6 gpt Gold (inkl. 212,48 gpt Au auf 2,25 Metern) in geringer Tiefe, was in jeder Hinsicht ein fantastisches high-grade Bohr-Ergebnis ist. Darüber hinaus konnte TerraX sichtbares Gold in den Bohrkernen feststellen. Dies untermauert die Qualität des besonderen Bohrlochs.

Gestern verkündete der erfolgreiche Gold-Explorer TerraX Minerals (V.TXR) neue Bohrergebnisse vom laufenden Explorationsprogramm auf dem Yellowknife City Goldprojekt im Norden von Kanada.
Das Junior-Unternehmen legte die Resultate für 19 Bohrungen mit einem Umfang von 784 Bohrmetern vor. Alle Bohrungen wurden dabei in geringer Tiefe bis maximal 41 Metern durchgeführt, wodurch TerraX ganz bewusst oberflächennahe Gold-Mineralisierungen fokussiert hat.
Hierbei war TerraX erneut erfolgreich, was die Resultate belegen. So wurden bspw. in der Hebert-Brent-Goldzone auf einer Strike-Länge von 125 Metern die folgenden, oberflächennahe Gold-Bohrergebnisse erzielt - siehe Highlights:

Alle 6 Bohrlöcher, die auf dem Bohrziel Homer Lage absolviert wurde, trafen auf Edelmetall-Mineralisierungen, was für sich sprechen sollte. Zwei Bohrungen trafen darüber hinaus auch auf Basismetalle.
Nach Abschluss der Bohr- und Explorationsarbeiten auf Homer Lake, hat TerraX die Bohrgeräte zu den Bohrzielen Barney und Hebert-Brent transportiert. In den nächsten Wochen erwartet der Gold-Explorer die Publikation von weiteren Bohrergebnissen.

TerraX hat durch die jüngsten Bohrerfolge auf zwei parallelen Zonen Gold gefunden. Besonders lukrativ ist die geringe Tiefe der Gold-Mineralisierungen, auf die der Explorer gestoßen ist. So kommt das Sam Otto Bohrziel in Zukunft gewiss für eine potentielle Open-Pit Goldminenoperation in Frage.
Insgesamt hat TerraX auf den Sam Otto Liegenschaften bis dato 1.510 Bohrmeter in 9 Bohrlöchern fertiggestellt. Dadurch konnte eine Streichlänge von 100m auf dem Bohrziel getestet werden. In der Spitze traf TerraX auf Gehalte von 8,39 gpt Gold (West-Zone), was für sich spricht.
TerraX Minerals geht davon aus, dass Sam Otto ein größeres Mineral-System beinhaltet, das ebenfalls auch zahlreiche high-grade Goldzonen zum Vorschein bringen kann. Im Hinblick auf die identifizierte Streichlänge von 1,5km bleibt das Explorationspotential gewaltig und der Explorer wird an der Drilling-Front gewiss aggressiv bleiben.

Winter Program Successfully Expands High-Grade Mineralization East and West of Triple R Deposit
KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Feb. 16, 2016) - FISSION URANIUM CORP. (TSX:FCU) (OTCQX:FCUUF) (FRANKFURT:2FU) ("Fission" or "the Company") is pleased to announce results from eleven holes at its' PLS property, host to the Triple R deposit, in Canada's Athabasca Basin region: seven holes drilled on the R600W zone, three drilled on the R780E zone and one on the R1620E. Of key importance, Hole PLS16-460, drilled on the R1620E zone (line 1500E) 300m east of the Triple R deposit, has intersected 8.04m of total composite mineralization of >10,000 cps radioactivity in a continuous 50.0m wide mineralized zone that starts at the shallow depth of 65.5m depth. Not only is this by far the strongest mineralization drilled to date on the R1620E zone but additionally it is the strongest mineralization east of line 1125E (R780E zone) 375m further to the west. Hole PLS16-460 significantly upgrades the R1620E Zone.
All eleven holes were mineralized, with eight returning high-grade intervals. The high-grade R600W zone, the high-grade R1620E zone and the newly discovered High-Grade R840W zone have yet to be added to the Triple R deposit resource estimate.

Gold-Explorer TerraX Minerals startet neues Bohrprogramm auf Yellowknife City Gold-Projekt
TerraX Minerals (V.TXR) startet mit vollen Kassen und großen Ambitionen ins neue Jahr.
Heute gab der erfolgreiche Gold-Explorer die Fertigstellung der Bohrarbeiten auf dem Mispickel Target (Walsh Lake) bekannt. Auf diesem Bohrziel hat TerraX 4 Bohrlöcher mit einem Gesamtumfang von 383 Metern in zwei Parallel-Sektionen fertiggestellt. Die Ergebnisse werden in den nächsten 6 Wochen erwartet.
Gleichzeitig hat TerraX den Start eines neuen Bohrprogramms mit der heutigen NR bekanntgegeben. Das aktive Bohrgerät wurde zum Sam Otto Bohrziel transportiert und ist nun dort im Einsatz. Drilling totaled 383 meters in 4 holes on two parallel sections approximately 50 meters apart. The two holes on each section were designed to hit mineralization approximately 20-25 and 40-50 meters below surface trenches sampled by TerraX in 2013, which returned chip sampling assays across strike on the sulphide-quartz vein zone of 6.0 m @ 7.29 g/t Au (News release of October 30, 2013). All four holes drilled on the Mispickel Target intersected sulphide mineralized veins and replacement style sulphide mineralization of the host felsic volcanics and sediments. Logging and sampling of the drill holes is ongoing with the first shipment of samples sent to ALS laboratory in Yellowknife.

("Fission" or "the Company") (TSX:FCU) (OTCQX:FCUUF) (FRANKFURT:2FU) is pleased to announce it will increase the size and budget of the winter drill program to account for additional drilling around the newly discovered R840W zone at its' PLS property, host to the Triple R deposit, in Canada's Athabasca Basin region. An additional $740,000 budgeted for 1,200m in four holes is planned to test the R840W.
Four additional close-spaced angled drill holes are planned to test for lateral and vertical continuation of the broad mineralized zone encountered in exploration hole PLS16-445 drilled on line 840W, located 135m west of the R600W zone. That drill hole intersected a 42.0m wide mineralized zone, including a continuous 2.0m interval measuring >10,000 cps radioactivity (see NR dated Feb 1, 2016).
- 1 hole will test 15m along strike to the west on line 855W
- 1 hole will test 15m along strike to the east on line 825W
- 1 hole will test 20m up-dip on line 840W
- 1 hole will test 20m down-dip on line 840W

Yellowknife, Northwest Territories - TerraX Minerals Inc. (TSX-V:TXR; Frankfurt:TX0; OTC Pink:TRXXF) has received and interpreted final results from the summer surface exploration program on its Yellowknife City Gold Project ("YCG"), immediately north of Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories. Highlights from this program, which focused on the Core Gold Area, include:
- Visible gold in a newly discovered vein approximately 200 m southeast of the Pinto structure (Pinto South). Assays from grab sampling include 108.00 g/t Au, 65.7 g/t Au and 35.2 g/t Au.
- Numerous quartz veins in the JED area west of the Barney Shear returned assays of 133.5 g/t Au, 30.4 g/t Au and 20.6 g/t Au.
- Mineralization in the felsic portion of the Ryan Lake pluton returned polymetallic assays of up to 12.35 g/t Au, 45 g/t Ag, 3.23% Pb, 1.31% Zn, and 0.53% Mo in separate samples. Assays up to 6.32% Mo had been obtained in this area previously (News Release August 19, 2014).
- sampling at the Shear 17/18 intersection that revealed polymetallic veining similar to the Ryan Lake East area reported above. Assay values include up to 4.94 g/t Au, 51.9 g/t Ag, 1.24% Cu and >1.0% Mo (over detection limit assays pending) in separate samples. This sampling expands to the north and east the area of polymetallic mineralization associated with the Ryan Lake pluton.
- Three new areas were identified as having alteration, structure and stratigraphy that are similar to the Hebert-Brent area (11.0 m @ 7.55 g/t Au in channel samples and 10.26m @ 3.69 g/t Au in drill hole TNB15-024) (news release November 18th, 2015). With the success of the Hebert-Brent discovery, these areas are priority targets for continued exploration. These three new areas are:
Hebert-Brent Southern Fault Offset - Structural interpretation indicates that the southern extension of the favourable Hebert-Brent stratigraphy (altered mafic volcanics, felsic dykes, gabbros and sediments) is offset approximately 500 meters northeast along the Daigle Lake Fault, a prominent feature extending through the Barney Deformation Corridor. The Southern Offset contains all the favourable rock types, and is transected by mineralized structures that include gold assays up to 19.7 g/t Au in grab sampling. Importantly these samples contain anomalous levels of antimony (up to 188 ppm) and arsenic, which are characteristic of the Hebert-Brent replacement style gold mineralization.
Sericite Zone - Located approximately 1 km northeast of Hebert-Brent the Sericite Zone was first identified as a large (300 m by >500 m zone of intense sericite alteration, similar to alteration identified at Hebert-Brent. The Sericite Zone is a much larger area of alteration (5 times greater in area than Hebert-Brent) and also contains the favourable Hebert-Brent stratigraphy. Sampling in this area has returned spatially extensive low grade gold (up to 1.24 g/t Au), with anomalous silver up to 54 g/t Ag. Sampling in this area has also returned highly anomalous antimony (up to 708 ppm Sb). Favourable geology, alteration, and geochemistry make the Sericite Zone a top priority target for exploration.
Townsite Formation - The Townsite Formation is a package of felsic, intermediate, and mafic volcanics; felsic intrusive; and sediments that has been identified proximal to both the Con and Giant deposits and appears similar to the Hebert-Brent geology. It has its largest areal extent in the Yellowknife camp on the Northbelt property of TerraX's YCG. Here the north-northeast orientation of the main mineralizing system in the Yellowknife Gold Belt intersects the northeast trending Townsite Formation as it abuts the Jackson Lake Formation to the east. The Jackson Lake Formation is equivalent to the Temiskaming Formation in the Abitibi gold belts and, like the Temiskaming, defines the 'Major Break" in the Yellowknife Gold Belt. The Townsite Formation has extensive sericitic and carbonate alteration with associated gold mineralization. Grab sampling in 2015 returned large areas of anomalous gold up to 6.57 g/t Au, base metals (up to 1.00% Cu) and silver (up to 25 g/t Ag). Importantly the sampling in the Townsite has returned highly anomalous antimony (up to 1905 ppm Sb). Surprisingly, this area has received very little exploration attention over the years; TerraX intends to carry out detailed mapping and sampling of the Townsite Formation in the 2016 field season.

41 hole summer drill program completed at the Crestaurum Shear on its
Yellowknife City Gold Project ("YCG"), immediately north of Yellowknife
in the Northwest Territories. Drilling was designed to prepare the
South Shoot of the Crestaurum Zone for future resource estimation, and
consisted of definition and extension drilling on the mineralized shoot.
Highlights of this drilling include:
- 4.21 m @ 12.29 g/t Au, including 2.50 m @ 19.43 g/t Au in TCR15-068
- 10.80 m @ 3.49 g/t Au, including 2.38 m @ 8.13 g/t Au, and 4.37 m @ 3.46 g/t Au in TCR15-052
- 9.20 m @ 3.37 g/t Au, including 2.20 m @ 12.27 g/t Au in TCR15-064, and
- 1.50 m @ 11.37 g/t Au in TCR15-072

Eighteen holes were drilled on the South Shoot to test the perimeters of higher grade shoots, and down dip extensions. The previously reported drilling by TerraX in the winter of 2015 on the higher grade portions of the South Shoot included 7.00 m @ 10.23 g/t Au, including 2.97 m @ 23.69 g/t Au in hole TCR15-003; 8.00 m @ 6.83 g/t Au, including 2.04 m @ 23.89 g//t Au in hole TCR15-005; and 15.50 m @ 2.89 g/t Au, including 2.94 m @ 13.28 g/t Au in TCR15-006. The best intersections in the drilling reported today include 4.21 m @ 12.29 g/t Au, including 2.50 m @ 19.43 g/t Au in TCR15-068; 10.80 m @ 3.49 g/t Au, including 2.38 m @ 8.13 g/t Au in TCR15-052; and 9.20 m @ 3.37 g/t Au, including 2.20 m @ 12.27 g/t Au in TCR15-064.
