Wochenrückblick und Performance-Vergleich: Rohstoff-, Minen- und Junior-Sektor

Sinkende Rohstoffpreise führen zu einer weiteren Verlustwoche für Rohstoffaktien. Edelmetallminen-Aktien können die Gewinne vom Wochenanfang nicht halten.

Gold (GLD) und Silber (SLV) legten am Montag einen spektakulären Turnaround hin und wandelten erhebliche Verluste in signifikante Gewinne um. Die größte Intraday-Wende in 2014. Die Gewinne können bis Freitag gehalten werden, dann sorgen starke US-Arbeitsmarktdaten für einen Sell-Off bei den Edelmetallen.

Gold- und Silberminen-Majors (GDX, SIL) können von der Erholung bei den Edelmetallen kaum profitieren und notieren zum Wochenende wieder erheblich im Minus. Das GDX-ETF erlebt am Mittwoch zum Handelsschluss sogar einen Flash-Crash. Noch heftiger erwischt es einmal mehr die Junior-Minenaktien (GDXJ), welche die letzten 5 Handelstage mit einem Minus von über 8% als klare Wochen-Verlierer abschließen.

Kupferpreise können sich zum Ende der Woche erholen, nachdem neue Mehrjahrestief-Stände noch am Montag markiert wurden. Kupferminen-Aktien (COPX) schließen die Woche nahezu unverändert ab. Während der letzten Wochen fielen Kupferminen ebenfalls auf neue Verlaufs-Tiefstände.

Die Majors der Minenbranche und Standard-Rohstoffaktien anhand des breit diversifizierten TXGM-ETFs fielen am Freitag auf neue Jahrestief-Stände. Vor allem die Schwäche bei den Branchengrößen wie BHP Billiton (NYE:BHP), Teck Resources (NYE:TCK) und Vale (NYE:VALE) belastete.

Auch die Erholung bei den Ölpreisen war nur von kurzer Dauer. Zum Wochenende fielen Brent Crude und WTI wieder Richtung der Mehrjahrestief-Stände. Auf Sicht der letzten Monate steht die größte Verlustserie seit 2008 zu Buche. Aktien der Öl- und Gas-Majors (DJUSEN) können sich aufgrund der freundlichen Lage an den Gesamt-Märkten stabilisieren. Bei den Fracking-Aktien geht der Sell-Off jedoch ohne Pause weiter.
